The purpose of this cultural exchange is to share culture and experiences from living and studying in Japan and the Philippines. This was done using the English language.<\/p>\n

During this first day, students from Elizabeth Seton School-South in Cavite, Philippines, shared about their country\u2019s famous food, rich history, and unique culture. The session was divided into three parts. It includes presentations, questions and answers, and chit-chat. Students from both countries used English as their form of communication. They also shared basic words and phrases from each country, such as \u3053\u3093\u306b\u3061\u308f “Kamusta,” or “Magandang Araw, and “\u3042\u308a\u304c\u3068\u3046\u3054\u3056\u3044\u307e\u3059”Maraming Salamat,”. In addition to English, the exchange of each other\u2019s cultures and languages made the session more engaging and fun.<\/p>\n

This online cultural exchange was made possible through the efforts of the English club students, Alts and English teachers. Moreover, the second session will be held on December 6, 2022. On this day, students from Japan will share their presentations with the students from the Philippines.<\/p>\n
